How to receive item

Most preferred method to receive your item is to visit the police station where your item is kept in person.

Domestic shipping is possible but this method is sometimes considerably more difficult if you are not a resident of Japan, as it requires post mails and fax.

How to report item

The quickest way to do this is in person at the nearest police station in Kyoto pref.

However, reporting to police stations outside Kyoto Prefecture is meaningless as they does not have jurisdiction.

Storage Period

Every police station in Japan will keep lost items for THREE months after reported to police stations.

After that period, the lost properties will be disposed of.

Notes

International shipments will not be accepted under any circumstances.

They do not make outgoing calls to telephone numbers outside Japan.
